We were recently commissioned by The Licoricia of Winchester Appeal, in association with Arts Council England, to produce a short film exploring the remarkable yet little-known story of Licoricia of Winchester, one of the most influential Jewish women in medieval England.
Featuring Tracey-Ann Oberman, the film shines a light on an important chapter of British history that has often gone untold. Through cinematic storytelling, it aims to introduce new audiences to Licoricia’s extraordinary life and legacy, while supporting the Appeal’s ongoing work to educate and raise awareness of her place in English history.
