As a video production company in Bristol, we’re always on the hunt for amazing outdoor video production locations for shoots. If you’re looking to film in Bristol then you’re in luck, it’s not short of amazing spaces and really varied aesthetics, from countryside to urban cityscapes – there’s no end to the great places that you can explore and experience.

Finding them however? That’s the difficult bit. So, first up on the list is King’s Street. With its cobbled stone road and tall, almost Victorian looking buildings, this is a video production location which has many different uses. The Downs (Clifton Downs)

Clifton Observatory

If you were to go from the bridge, eventually you would reach the observatory. We’re not talking about going in it necessarily, but just taking advantage of the remote-ish area and views to capture some long range shots. There’s various picturesque backdrops depending upon which direction you’re facing, alongside a small section of wooded area.

Victoria Park

A hidden gem in Bedminster with beautiful green lawns, large trees, and panoramic views over the city. Great for capturing peaceful urban park scenes.

Troopers Hill Nature Reserve

A unique location with its distinctive chimney, natural heathland, and panoramic views of the city. Troopers Hill offers a mix of industrial heritage and rugged natural beauty.

Castle Park

Located in the city center, it features the ruins of St. Peter’s Church and large open green spaces with views of the River Avon and the old Bristol city walls.

Eastville Park
